Eye colour: According to my boyfriend it is a "weird blue-y/dark grey- blue on the outside and hazel grey/blue on the inside...' My eyes change colour in the light. 

Best Feature: My eye's because they are so different. 

Height: Eh! Medium almost small height? 

Braces?: Nope! But I remember wanting them when I was a young tot! 

Glasses?: Also something I remember wanting in primary school but never had. 

Piercing: I used to have ear piercings, but they've closed up!

First best friend: I wouldn't even be able to remember! My longest would have to be Caitlin from Primary school!

First Award: The first real award I received that wasn't from school camps and etc, was in grade six (last year of primary school) for Best Sportsmanship.

It starts with a blank page...New Youtube Adventure

It's always nice when you get a good reception on something you took lots of time and effort to work on.

Whilst experimenting with my camera and from the inspiration from certain youtubers, (Im looking at you EMILIYOFNEWGLOOM) I felt inspired to do something different. Outside of beauty video's and Vlogs. Guess what! I think I actually really like it! 

It is most definitely my attempt at sounding like I think about other things besides make-up. I hope for others that it is somewhat thought provoking. It was definitely a growing experience for me (it sounds funny I know!)

It is the first time many people I know will have seen my play guitar (and yes, though you can't see the body of it, that is the actual sound and video of me picking through some sweet, sweet melodies) but lets be honest here. We're all glad I didn't actually sing! 

and of course, what is a video without my practicing my silly faces                                             beforehand? I'm sure you will get used to it one day! 

Then the editing begun! I spent quite a long time on this project! I'm so proud on what I came up with, and I was even confident enough to show my parents...They got a bit teary eyed! 

Then was the realisation after I had uploaded it to my youtube...I HAD FORGOTTEN MANY CLIPS! Well, isn't that a dilemma? I guess that just means I'll have to make more.... ; )

Revamp the Trash

I'm not going to lie, I wrote a few posts a couple months back and never thought anything of them, so I left them in the "Un-posted pile" thinking they were nothing of value. Maybe it was a slight unconfident or a "why bother" but I try to ignore that defeatist attitude. It was only just now that I was able to acquire some free time that I read a few up and coming posts and decided there was something to them. So here I am going through the trash pile and revamping in the name of blogging!

Hello, I'm Maddy and I'm here for beauty addiction...

As I am 17, now with under 4 months until I turn the big 1-8, it dawns on me harder than ever that I still have yet to find my place in this big crazy place that they call the ‘world’ though that can be seen as a person, a place or a thing, the closest I have come to find is my deep, loyal love in cats.

Because of this, (and perhaps the lack of friends I have acquired possibly due to my love for cats), I have been known to frequently hobby-jump. A term meaning, one that frequently finds themselves going from dream to dream and from activity to activity trying to find their true calling, or for short term sake, a hobby.

For dreams, these are short bursts of obsessions for me. I can talk for days about the chosen subject until I exhaust myself out of it while annoying those around me to the brink of their sanity. These include, hairdressing, being a

 librarian, a songwriter, a writer, playwright, and a music video director as well as to be part of an ensemble/stage performer/actor. The list will go on. And on, And on. 

                         For activities I’ve tried from squash to tennis, karate to dancing, rock eisteddfod’s to school productions and to my recent attempt at guitar. The three latter have probably been my favorites.

 So its no surprise I’ve now turned to blogging and you-tube-ing. This came about in a few ways. One specific for this channel was a recent obsession with beauty channels here on this beautiful place of free speech and craziness!

So watching you-tubers such as Zoe (Zoella280390), Fleur De Force (Fleur De Force ), Rhiannon Ashley, (Fashion Rocks My Socks) Tanya Burr and Kate Murnane (Dolly Bow Bow)  and Louise (SprinklofGlitter) set of a rolling stone within me.

Though I don’t l know what will be in store for me in terms of life, I hope that you can enjoy my weird impressions or what I like to call, Too hot-for-hot distortion of my face. Its great fun! Along with some crazy antics, unbelievably fast talking

(Im trying to work on that), hyped up crazy videos where I’m sure to drop things multiple things as though they were repeats of the same clip.

But most of all, I hope you enjoy the journey. The journey I’m taking to become a better, new, comfortable, confidant me. To turn my life around. (Of course its also my new years resolution)

And maybe if you would like to, you can also join in and become part of the same journey too!

Who knows, maybe I’ll pick up some new friends along the way and miraculously find my place.
